About the course:
Welcome to Mindful Self-Care, a transformative workshop designed to prioritize and support your well-being and lifestyle goals. Through a blend of guided practices, self-reflection, and weekly at-home exercises, you'll have the opportunity to de-stress, cultivate mindfulness skills, and foster positive self-care habits.
Throughout the workshop, you'll embark on a journey of self-discovery, developing your self-awareness and inner wisdom to enact positive changes in your daily life. Whether you're seeking to reduce stress, set powerful intentions, or enhance your overall well-being, this workshop is tailored to meet your needs.
Participants of all backgrounds and experience levels are welcomed and encouraged to join. Learning Outcomes:
What mindfulness is, and what it isn't
How to practice mindfulness meditation
Proper meditation postures and techniques
Developing a personalized mindfulness self-care plan
Assessing different area of our lives including physical, mental, emotional, relationships, work, and play
Learning how to restructure important areas of our lives
Knowing how to address moments of struggle with meaningful self-care activities
Class Structure:
6 total classes
Class meets 1x / week for 6 weeks
Each class is 1.5 hours long
9 hours of total class instruction time (approximate)
Lesson & homework handouts provided for each class
Guided recordings for at home practice provided
Online resource materials
In-person or virtual (no hybrid)
Open to all experience levels
Class Notes:
Attend in any attire (comfortable clothing encouraged)
Participants will be mostly sitting during class. All activities can be adapted to your own comfort level and ability.
Participants should bring water, pen, & notebook. (Optional: small blanket, personal cushion, yoga mat, etc.)
Participants will be encouraged to develop a daily at home practice with provided recordings
